90 YEARS AND COUNTING!

As I say goodbye to 2017, I am somewhat shocked I am entering my 18th year, but then again I say that every year. Not only am I proud of our accomplishments, but we learned to live and adjust to the complexities of owning a business. We reap the reward and pay the price to own a business of our own and we would have it no other way. Paul and I put our trust in each other and share our individual expertise to keep the Chaet family business on the cutting edge of technology, whether it is going Green with water-based paint, the latest equipment, updated software and hardware, and a website that strives to remain relevant to a new generation of drivers who may eventually need our services.

We enter 2018 and the Chaet’s 90th year, yes the 90th year, knowing we have done our best to represent Paul’s Father and Grandfather. I often wonder when Paul’s Grandfather, Dave, opened if he ever thought there would even be a legacy; and that his legacy would continue into 2018 and beyond. We speak to Paul’s Dad, Mick, on a regular basis and he remains interested in the business with questions on any improvements and upgrades, as well as inquiring about his clients who still come to see us…customer service till the end! Mick continues to be an interesting and helpful source of information about how the shop was run so we can use the past to mold the future.

It has always been a priority to create a working environment that our employees want to come to as well as a sense of community and service. Paul and I close 2017, and as we do every year, we thank our employees. Without them, we cannot offer the best service. We also thank you, our clients because without you we would not be here.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A MOST JOYOUS NEW YEAR!
